Your Personal CFO for Business, Money and Life
Helping experienced professional make clearer decision about their finances, business and future direction. Drawing on 25 years as a chartered accountant and finance director.
About me
I’m a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in finance and business advisory.
During that time I’ve worked closely with business owners and professionals navigating complex financial and strategic decisions.
Alongside my financial background, I’ve also trained in coaching and spent many years supporting people through important life transitions.
My role is not simply to give advice.
It’s to help people think clearly about their future.
Why Work With a CFO?
Many professionals in their 40s and 50s realise they need more than an accountant, a financial adviser, or a coach.
They need someone who understands all three.
I work with experienced professionals and small business owners to help them think clearly about their finances, their business, and what they want the next stage of life to look like.
How We Work Together
Financial Clarity Session
A structured session where we build a model of your financial future and explore key life decisions.
We look at:
• income and assets
• pensions and investments
• business income
• retirement scenarios
• the financial implications of different life choices
The outcome is clarity about where you stand and what your options are.
Strategic Advisory
For some clients, our conversations continue beyond the initial session.
These discussions often cover:
• business strategy
• financial planning
• business strategy for their business
• retirement and major life transitionsThis becomes an ongoing thinking partnership.
-
The Profile: You are in your peak earning years, generating high income but lacking a long-term capital strategy.
The Goal: Moving from "flying blind" to maximizing the power of time and compound growth.
The Gap: Turning a high salary into a permanent wealth engine before mid-life complexity sets in.
The Questions People Are Asking
You may be asking questions like:
• Am I financially OK for the long term?
• When could I slow down or retire?
• What should I do with my business over the next 5–10 years?
• How do I structure my finances properly?
• What does the next chapter of life actually look like?
These questions don’t sit neatly with just one adviser.
They sit somewhere between finance, business and life decisions.
Why Work With Me
Why this approach is different
Most people rely on several separate advisers:
• an accountant
• a financial adviser
• a business consultant
• sometimes a coach
My work brings these perspectives together.
For over 25 years I’ve worked as a Chartered Accountant and Finance Director, supporting businesses ranging from start-ups to companies with turnover approaching £10 million.
Alongside this financial experience, I’ve trained in coaching, offering financial advice and spent many years helping people think clearly about complex life decisions.
-
The Profile: Your life is at its most complex—career, investments, and expenses are all peaking simultaneously.
The Goal: A deep-dive variance analysis to find your Shortfall Number—the year your current path fails your future vision.
The Gap: Bridging the distance between "doing well" and being 100% certain that your math supports your long-term life goals.
-
The Profile: You are nearing the point where work should become optional, and your focus is shifting to distribution and legacy.
The Goal: Moving from wealth accumulation to a secure, 40-year cash flow strategy.
The Gap: Ensuring your assets are fully optimized to provide a "Success Gap" that funds the lifestyle and legacy you’ve worked decades to build
